a submission for the "The Happening" contest, which appears to have disappeared! But I'm pleased with the results as a political statement, too.

very nice- I was hoping to find the contest too and it just ... dissapeared! hmmm- maybe it's "the happening!!!"
:iconnaturalbear:
That WOULD be appropriate! But thanks for the comment.

Looking at your Favs, I see we have some tastes in common <G>.

yeah, I figured with a screen name like natural "BEAR" you would be worth checking out :)
:iconnaturalbear:
Oh, oh - someone new to "cyber-flirt" with <w> I'm a gen-u-ine BEAR - the "natural" part came from the fact that up until now, most of my photography has been of nature. Right now I'm on an architecture kick (growing up in NY, that's actually "Nature", or at least "Environmental" too.) So I've started taaking my little digital camera with me around the City - got some great shots in the middle of the heat wave of the Empire state building & some other buildings.

Keep an eye out for them.

Very interesting effect... and the model is a hottie :)

The original picture was a vintage beefcake photo I came across and kept in my "hot men" collection. (and I wonder why I need a second hard drive!) I did the picture for the aborted contest for "Happening", but was very happy with the results. (Didn't finish it before the contest disappeared, but they did give me a month membership for my effort.)

And I did it all with cheap software - I don't have Photoshop (limited income) and I just downloaded GIMP and I am just learning to use it.
:iconmertonparrish:
Well, cheap software or not, you did a great job... Keep up the good work! :)
